How come in the before and after pictures on the weight loss ads, people go from pale to tan?

It makes you think they are selling a self tanner instead of the weight loss program.

It’s our society’s perception that being tan is healthy. So they brush the photos and make th people look different. Sometimes I wonder if they are even the same.

ITS A LIE!!!!! They are totally different people, if unotice the before is always wearing really frumpy clothes and has zits and stuff. Its like people think that if u are tan u r more healthy and if u r pale you are like tv obsessed and afraid of light.

A tan body shows off a lean body in a better manner, as in more muscle definition is seen.

Yes, in all honesty it is just to make them look more attractive.
But I have lost 50 lbs. this summer and I am more tan than I have been in years.
1. I have been outside walking and riding bike 2+ hours a day and have been exposed to the sun. 2. Because of my losing weight, I feel better about my self, and am getting out to more outdoor social activities instead of hunkering down in the dark house.
Good question!

Because many people believe that when tan, a person looks more slim. This is in some people’s minds a good way to sell their product.

When you tan your skin gets tighter so you will look thinner, more cut and have less flabby skin.
